For a number of reasons Mitsubishi Fuso Cab Over Trucks are better than their direct competitors: Isuzu (Isuzu makes the same truck for Chevrolet & GMC), Ford/International (same truck) and the Nissan UD line. Only Mitsubishi Fuso includes an additional Power Train Warranty in addition to their 3 year Unlimited Mileage Warranty. This extended Power Train Warranty covers Class 3 through 5 Fusos for 5 years or 175,000 miles which ever occurs first. For Class 6 & 7 Fusos this additional Warranty is for 5 years or 250,000 miles which ever occurs first.  

"Putting Your Money Where Your Mouth Is" and being willing to include this extended Warranty for no additional charge is a pretty good way to start the argument for Fuso Trucks! There are a lot more reasons as well, and you can view them through the links at the bottom of this page.

Driver Friendly Fuso Features: Roomier cab & transmission shifter on the dash allows for an easier curb side exit. Tilt cab mechanism is curb side with dash warning light & buzzer if not latched. Fuso back-up alarm standard. Cab fuse panel is vertically mounted on dash.
Competition: less roomy, transmission shifter on the floor - less leg room & harder to exit curbside, tilt cab mechanism on street side & no warning if not latched. Back up alarm is a $100 (msrp) option. Cab fuse panel mounted on top (horizontal) of dash- just add coffee- to your electrical circuits.

 More Fuso Values: Fuso Front and rear sway bars for added stablity (standard), not available on the competition. Fuso's straight frame is stronger: 51,200 psi yield strength steel, versus tapered frame @ 44,000. Fuso frame section modulus at 8.1 in cubed yielding RBM of 415,232 versus 7.2 in cubed yielding an RBM of 316,800. Fuso's air intake snorkel is placed much higher to take in cooler (denser) & cleaner air. Competitions air intake is at engine compartment height just behind the front wheel- affected by engine heat and dirt dust by proximity to the front wheel.
